I was elected vice-president of the PR  of the Student-theatre Association Amsterdam, which meant that I would act as president of the committee whenever the president was absent. As a part of the committee I was assigned to two of the thirteen productions to create a PR-plan and to design multiple different elements of the PR such as a poster and facebook images. We’d open up a dialogue with the director of the production to see how they wanted their show to be represented and what kind of imagery went along with that. I ended up creating the two posters completely from scratch whereas using photo’s had been the norm. As I was a part of the creative team for one of the two productions, ‘De Zere Neus van Bergerac’, I had a very good banter with the director and I replicated my approach with the second production: ‘Picknick op het Slagveld.’ Part of the result is visible in the photos on the right.
